It’s “Just A Mystery”, First Song Recorded After Prison Release, Deep Rap

Deep Hiphop Track, Just A Mystery, Recorded After Released From Prison

The deep rap, deep hip-hop track “Just A Mystery” was the first song recorded by Ananomyx upon his release from prison in 2012. The first verse was partly written in prison and finished after creating the beat. The beat is a bit slow and not the greatest but the point was getting to finally record after being away from a microphone for so long. Just a Mystery speaks about Ananomyx’s integration back into society after gaining a newfound understanding of reality.

Why It’s not Just a Mystery, “Just a Mystery” was Written

We are all thrown into existence unwillingly from the start, and this is just a mystery. To us, the very reason we are alive is an idea we create based on our views concerning life, which is also just a mystery. A life devoid of understanding makes it more difficult to navigate our journey here. Everyone has a different level of understanding and will react to an event in accord with their level of understanding. If we understand our meaning and purpose and make it a goal to understand and learn as much as we can, we may be to understand what many consider, just a mystery.

This life is just a mystery I’m trying to figure out,

Is this the way it’s meant to be is there another route?

I don’t need you to speak to see exactly what you’re about,

but once you’ve lived a certain way it’s hard to turn around.

Verse 1

Most of it ain’t suitable,

I know that I’m unusual,

You can say I found it, but there’s times I lose it too.

Anything is possible, no matter what it cost you

You can find the truth, this I know because it’s lost in you.

Search and you will find it too, that is what we’re called to do

but most don’t want to listen, not unless they got some proof.

And most of it ain’t suitable, I know that I’m unusual,

you can say I found it, but there’s times I lose it too.

Steer clear, the end is rather near, life is but a moment and you hold it while you’re here.

and we always choose our preference, in this world that’s full of arrogance

In fact, it’s evident, whose works are eminent,

In this place full of monotony, it’s plain what I will not be.

I’m a stranger where I’m standing, I’m a danger to this planet

I speak the truth in riddles, to a few that truth is granted.

Parables, analogies,

this power that’s inside of me,

they’ve never seen this side of me,

I speak the truth excitingly.

In every single breath,  it’s not what you’d expect,

this life’s delusion to neglect

The purpose you were sent

The purpose that was meant

And the lie that this society surprisingly has kept.

Verse 2

Practice consistency, don’t live in this conspiracy

Tested individually, is everything meant to be

Eternity and destiny, both are right here next to me

My enemies keep perishing, insulting my integrity

But everything is everything, or shall I say a memory…

Misery loves company, especially

Apparently, I wait, mentally escape this place, obtain the only way

Not to late to take the chance

Break the chains upon your hands

Are you ready to advance?

While some may choose the wider path,

Many called still choose to laugh,

This life’s a flash before your eyes

We’re born we live and then demise,

Accept this life for what it is,

Just something we can’t predict.

I know there’s things I can’t permit

So many things irrelevant

Vanities of vanities, this life is passing rapidly

It’s pleasures and it’s tragedies

Like a breeze, it’s passing me.

I try and see the things ahead,

I try and times I still forget,

Promises I can’t protect, and then the ones I should of kept.
